The inaugural Royal Langkawi Classic Car Show 2017 organised by MY Classic Cars is the first of its kind after 22 years lapse of an auto show in the island of Langkawi. The event was held over 3 days at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) or betten know as Dewan LIMA.
The show saw 50 vintage and classic cars with the oldest on display being the Rolls Royce Phantom I along side the Phantom II and a Rolls Royce 20/25. There was an array of Volvo P1800 and 122S models as well as a Ferrari Testarossa. We had a wide range of cars for the viewing pleasure of the public which compromised of locals and tourist from within Malaysia and abroad.
The participating vehicles for the Concours were competing for the show and shine prizes which included over RM28,000 in cash and trophies. The Sultan’s Choice award saw the Volvo P1800 owned by Mr. Mohamad Rani bagging the coveted title along with a trophy and cash prize of RM1500.
